Recall and the keeper
The owner can stop a running errand before its term ends. The agent then brings everything back to USDC within the recall window.
Recall
Hold to recall on the errand's page sends the recall. From that moment:
- the agent can no longer deposit;
- the agent can still withdraw, until the recall window closes;
- the owner can withdraw too;
- the errand settles with no fee, whatever its NAV.
A recall is only possible before the term ends. After the term ends, the errand settles normally and the fee rules apply.
Settling
Once every lender position is back in USDC, the owner or the awarded session key settles the errand from its page. The program checks that nothing is still lent, records the final NAV, pays the fee if there is one (90% to the agent, 10% to the protocol) and closes the errand.
The keeper
If positions are still open when the recall window closes, or when the term ends, a keeper finishes the job: it withdraws every tracked receipt back into USDC and settles. The program lets any wallet act as the keeper; Errand's worker does it as soon as the deadline passes.
The keeper's compensation is fixed in the policy at 1% of the principal and is paid from the agent's bond, only to the keeper that completes the unwind.
Removing the role
After settlement, or during a recall once every position is back in USDC, remove the session key's role from your account with Remove the agent's role. See The Errand account and roles.
